We tend to think that only over oily skin will result in acne, but in fact the opposite can be true too. Dry skin is vulnerable to bacteria that can result in breakouts. Make sure to moisturize regularly with a lotion that is designed for your skin type.

10. Using too many hair-care products

Especially when it comes to body acne on the back and chest, excessive use of hair-care products is often to blame. If you’re struggling with a breakout, use products sparingly and keep your hair up so it is not sitting on your skin.
